What we will be doing: We will be facilitating discussions about various aspects documentary photography. We also have two incredible presenters lined up to talk about their work, building personal projects, and getting your work out there. Additionally, your spot at the retreat includes:

  • A street and/or family shoot with one of our shoot leaders who are available to guide you and answer questions.
  • Some one on one time with our retreat leaders to ask any questions you might have regarding shooting, projects, and/or business.
  • Each participant also receives a portfolio review or selected image critique by Erika and Natasha. This critique will be discussed openly at the retreat with all participants in order to gain perspective from as many viewers as possible and to build a dialogue about documentary work and photographic voice even further and help create connections to each other and reconnect with our own work.

Lodging: We will be sharing a beautiful vacation home in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood, just minutes from downtown. (Due to the shared nature of our accommodations we are only able to invite women to this retreat.)

Pricing: Registration options start at $1500. Fee covers accommodation, selected meals, and all retreat activities listed above. Registration options are as follows:

Payment in full on registration – $1600, shared room or $1500 bed share option

Payment by installments – $1800, shared room or $1700 bed share option
